Mike graduated from Fresno State University with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Minor in Psychology. He became involved in real estate in 1985, when he helped his brother Mark renovate a duplex in San Francisco. When they sold the duplex a year later for a substantial profit, Mike was hooked. Shortly thereafter, he went to work in property management in the Bay Area. At Hamilton Zanze, Mike uses his varied skillset: he has turned units, leased apartments, done the day to day maintenance and procured bids and provided oversight for major renovation projects.
He joined HZC in 2008 as an Asset Manager, shepherding all aspects of operations. Mike’s cost conscious reputation has filtered down to the onsite teams where he teaches them to think outside the box when it comes to maintenance and repair and to look for smart cost saving opportunities. In his down time, Mike enjoys collecting vinyl records and vintage stereo equipment.
