Who says Football and Business Administration don’t mix? Born and raised in Hawaii, Masa Miyashiro arrived mainland to attend Menlo College on a Football scholarship. In addition to his athletic and academic merits, he also volunteered for his church mission in Osaka, Japan before graduating with a BS in Business Administration.

Following college, Masa worked as an Accounting Manager in various industries before settling into the Real Estate field.  Working for a company that specializes in low-income housing and partnership tax returns, he advanced to work as a Controller for one of his former tax clients, Bay West Investment. A colleague then recommended him to Hamilton Zanze, where he now works as a Controller in our Finance Division.

Masa, his wife Holly, and their three boys live in the East Bay, where he takes an active role in the boys’ extracurricular lives. He coaches football and basketball, participates in their church and is also a Boy Scout Leader.
